Zhongding is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact through sustainable practices. By optimizing production processes, improving energy efficiency, and embracing renewable energy, we strive to minimize carbon emissions.

Carbon Neutrality Goal

Zhongding has established both short-term and long-term carbon neutrality targets, with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality across all yarn products from cradle to gate by 2060.

Installed solar panels on-site to generate renewable energy.
2023

Joined the China Wool Textile Industry Association and the Green and Low-Carbon Alliance, earning certification for the energy management system.

2024

Three 100% cashmere yarns achieved 
ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality certification from cradle to gate.

2030

Promote sustainable supply chain management, with 50% of yarn products achieving carbon neutrality from cradle to gate.

2050

Optimize production processes and integrate more renewable energy, with 80% of yarn products achieving carbon neutrality from cradle to gate.

2060

Collaborate with brand partners to achieve product carbon neutrality, ensuring 100% yarn products are carbon-neutral from cradle to gate.

Certified by ISO 14068:2023
Carbon Neutrality Standard

In 2024, Zhongding achieved a significant milestone by certifying three luxury 100% cashmere yarns—LULLABY, ELEGANCE, and SERENITY—under the ISO 14068:2023 carbon neutrality standard. These products followed ISO 14067:2018 for carbon footprint calculations from “cradle to gate,” minimizing emissions and offsetting the remaining carbon through renewable energy certificates (I-REC), certified by TÜV SÜD.

Carbon Data Disclosure

To ensure transparency and traceability of carbon data for downstream customers and consumers, Zhongding has made certified carbon data available on the “International Textile and Apparel Carbon Information Disclosure Platform.” We ensure the data is immutable, secure, private, transparent, and traceable.
